Stellar Performance: DOW & US Dollar CCY

The stellar performance of the #Dow Jones & #USDollar have been reaffirmed with last Friday's Non-Farm payrolls number bolstering market participants with over 321K; with a total of 2.65 million jobs over the last 11 months, which surpasses the 2.33 million created from the previous year in 2013. This has been the a 10th consecutive home run on the Jobs field; so to speak for the US economy. Giving a green light for the Fed to hike rates at mid-2015.

Although, market driven by fundamental drivers is not new, since the past few months the market has been surrounded and is still is with other geopolitical uncertainty in the European continent where Russian related conflicts still tops the list. While Asia is dominantly seeing the USDJPY surged to as high as 121.68 to this writing and analyst are now more convinced that this rally is not over.

NOT JUST FOREX: DJIA / DDM

The triple digit decline in July after coming from a gradual climb did touch its initial high @17151.38 as indicated on the chart figure below. While the pivotal price point from a 16333.78 low and reverses on the way higher have been the trigger for most investors to risk contrary to others calling a continuing decline since it broke the 16500 levels.

Meanwhile, the equivalent Pro-Shares Ultra DOW 30 was at a real good discount / spread levels @113.33 with the DJIA price. Likewise, the opposite occured prior to the decline when it was 17151.38 for the DJIA compared to the DDM @121.75. New highs would eventually form prior to the coming weeks ahead.

DOW Cruising Rally

Not Just Forex:

The DOW and S&P continues to cruise towards making new highs at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. Entering the 1st days of the week already have signified the market's real sentiments at a significant sacrificial lamb for the USD still declining and opening a window of opportunity for the rest of its peers to gain more ground.

As CABLE have overtaken as the lead currency pair, alongside with the AUD (AUSSIE), and the CHF (SWISS) taking their cue on the USD weakness. And making 20 Pence for every 1 British Pound traded in the market since we called it; at these price levels can only get better while the market last. Cautious play can only be advised at this time!

However, the real highlight is still focused on our Stock Portfolio heading towards a remarkable price rally nearing the previous call we have made for the DOW @17000 and the S&P @2000 is in the making. Since it is a short trading week, we would be taking our end of the 2nd quarter trading break. As mentioned any positions left would then be carried-over for the third (3rd) quarter but likewise still be monitoring price action from the upcoming data.

Have a good 4th of July every one and again...ONLY THE BEST FOR YOUR TRADES!

USD & DOW rally side-by-side

NOT JUST FOREX: With a more positive reports from US Consumer confidence & New Home Sales have driven the USD higher with the DXY having reached an intra-day high @80.39 to this writing. This also fueled the DOW Jones stocks nearing the 17000 and the S&P within striking distance on our bench mark levels at the 2000 mark.

Certain market conditions are still present boosting this rally with a price comparison moving in tandem every time a USD recovery is being made. And it has been quite sometime since these movements have occurred similar to the DOW JONES run along side the USD from the year1996 - 2000. Updates on the current portfolio and list of stocks being monitored.

Not Just Forex: ProShares Ultra Dow30(DDM)

UPDATE: ProShares Ultra Dow30 (DDM) price as of May 11: 117.08

Averaging the DJIA w/ ProShares Ultra Dow30 (DDM):

Since the 2009 crisis, the DOW Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) has had its fair share of major corrections with the recent three digit decline which we have seen from a 52 week range between 16,631.60 to 14,444.00. But with a 13% yearly average is not too bad at all!

Although, the recent decline from December to February was considered a major corrective move which we now see the current price @16,408.54 as a gradual resumption of its trend higher; with daily corrective pullbacks to be expected. And likewise with the US Dollar decline adding to this bull market trend would be the key component for the Dow to continue or not.
