NOT JUST FOREX: #USD #SPY #DXU16 #GBPUSD Reflects Resiliency

CABLE AS OF 6.03.16
With the miss on JOBS data despite a 4.7 unemployment rate; the USD has held with very minor corrective session moves. Unlike the volatility seen in the currency market, where the relative strength of the #YEN, #CABLE & the #EURO have seen a very good price coming back from behind its healthy declines

With CABLE rising back towards the 1.4580 levels, EURO @1.1340 and the Japanese Yen's gaining strength back towards the 106.80 have been a good price swing that had obviously caught some traders off-balance due to a disappointing report coming from the US labor department.

The resiliency of the SP500 shows that the probability of a June hike may push the FED for a July rate hike which should not be discounted by the market. Thus the ability for investors to see this in a positive outlook could be an encouraging sign. Yet again, the market's uncertainty still prevails with investors weary of the rate hike in spite of a mix report.

Therefore, Price Swings and relative market behavior will again take much of the trader's real market outlook more than ever. This consolidation of a wide range bound trading would until a true market conviction and price break would occur.

NOT JUST FOREX: SPDR SP500 ETF

SPDR SP500 ETF
In reference to our previous market view, the USD correction and its mild manner behavior have provided some ideal momentum built-in from the past couple of trading days. While a  reasonable increase in the open interest reflected that this has driven a rally and some breath of fresh positioning at the start of the trading week with the stock market indices.

As mentioned, whenever the closing prices maintains their current levels from last week's closing the overall picture of the trend remains to be intact. Today's move have proven to be true and correct. But contrary to this outlook, we do have some traders and analyst seeing the opposite.  As the NFP #'s would be another risk event that would be focused on Friday.

Not Just Forex: DOW & S&P - Huffing & Puffing!

DIVERSIFIED PORTFOLIO Management

While the markets awaiting ECB's actions or non-activity and the NFP numbers; the record breaking highs of the S&P have been more important for our out look nearing the 2000 mark levels ever since making a judgement call along with the DJIA above the 16500 has retained its positive breath sentiments contrary to some corrective movements on the way higher.

This will be sustained for now until such time a major contraction would emerge for the US economy. Likewise, it has been sometime that the ISM figures have been showing its growth pace with an ever sluggish jobs growth and leads the US economy huffing & puffing moving forward.

Our most recent call and portfolio diversified into a few sectors have been more along with taking the ride on with the DJIA strength and a timid, yet stable price recovery of the US Dollar (DXY) from its pivotal turning point @78.80/90 on the way higher. Keeping pace with the ProShares Ultra Dow30 (DDM) and SPDR (DIA) have been moving higher with a few bumps has been a near-term beneficiary of this rally as long as there won't be any serious hiccups on either side of the continents.
