CORRELATED Declines Across Cryptos Initially led by ETHUSD

Unfortunately, for now there are strong bearish market sentiments for Bitcoin that marked a low at 5858 in Asian session, which is indirectly from the contagion and for some a much delayed US SEC approval for ETFs. As CME Bitcoin Futures are much too expensive for retail speculative investors & traders to get into.

The correlated declines across Cryptos, for  now is led by ETHUSD which just made a 2018 new low $268.83 as of this writing. A 9 month low equivalent to more than an 80% decline from its peak price at $1424.00 as of January 13, 2018. Check this Fibonacci Retracement Applied to measure its price from where ETHUSD came from before its rally.

Apparently technical tools are lagging indicators that would not be as effective since the market is currently driven by bearish momentum sentiments. This will also lead to a spill over negative effects for ICOs backed by Ethereum on certain blockchain projects. Likewise, there has been an increase in failed ICOs as more investors are drifting away from offerings and cashing out as prices continues to decline.

FINTECH In search of the next 'DARLING OF WALL STREET'

Other blockchain participants focus on their respective niche application on 'Bitcoins Eventual Adaption' in every possible sector of industry, the need to better improve & put all these in motion to market through ICOs is gaining some ground. As it portray its financial inclusion to offer the market 'Mass Adoption' as an important goal to achieve; yet still have quite some distance to go the extra mile.

While other major investors are in search of the next 'Google, PayPal' or a big standout among Fintech startups pitch presentations, many of them have accumulated a certain number of investment funds to bet on the next probable Darling of Wall Street through an IPO.

For now, the fact remains that every investor do have their particular reasons for investing and trading digital currency. These investors are categorized in their respective fields of interest and financial qualifications that best serve their goals now and in the near term. And these are the best reasons professional and sophisticated investors have opted to trade & invest mostly on the real true value including a fractional value thereof from Bitcoin prices and its correlated futures & ETFs markets that are already available.

In short, it really is a 'Matter of Choice & Preference' for investors as they are normally swamped with promotions and market campaigns from ICOs companies fronting blockchain technology in their applications as we have no problem with that. Eventually we'll see the most important among all in a few years to come while taking advantage of what the markets offer here and now. While others may call this being short-sighted, it is still how one perceives the value of their own investment that are managed and controlled trading by each individual investor and not by others.

Among these alternative instruments that can deliver the best probable rate of return while maintain a certain level of liquidity in mind with the investment made now and not in the long term period is what most investors are actually aiming for. Management, Accountability and Transparency of how funds are used and appropriately placed are just some of the most important criteria in any investment made.
